Our key responsibilities for socio-economic research activities:
Network and Infrastructure Management: To design, deploy, and maintain the institute's network systems, ensuring optimal connectivity and uptime.
Internet and Browsing Security: Protecting sensitive website/data and preventing threats is a top priority. We implement and manage security protocols, monitoring systems, and backup solutions to safeguard our digital assets.
Hardware and Software Support: To provide a technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for all hardware and software, ensuring that employees have the tools they need to succeed. Apart from this, to procure econometrics software i.e. SPSS, EViews, Matlab, R-Statistics, Stata etc. and its relevant technical support to help of the researchers and faculty for their research environment.
Innovation and Technology Advancement: To continually explore a new technology to improve efficiency, productivity operations, ensuring that the institute stays ahead in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
Cloud and Data Management: To manage cloud services, data storage, and analytics platforms to ensure smooth data flow and easy access across the Institute.
Website, Domain and Hosting: Website of the Institute is present an overview of faculty profile and their research areas, current activities, seminar/workshop/conference and training programmes details, Anvesak and Madhukari a bi-annual journal, database for Ph.D. students, Senior Fellowship, Post-Doctoral Fellowship and Doctoral Fellowship etc. The website is periodically update.
AISHE Online Survey: Computer/IT department of the Institute is providing to support for All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) an annual web-based survey through online AISHE (MoE) portal i.e. https://www.aishe.gov.in since 2010 of which data is being uploaded in several parameters such as teaching, non-teaching, student enrolment, details of programmes, examination results, education, finance, and infrastructure etc. These are useful in making informed policy decisions and research for development of education sector.
